Licensed Virginia auctioneer and President of Laughlin Auctions Inc. 1975 graduate of Virginia Tech. Hoyle and his two brothers founded Laughlin Auctions Inc. in 1986. Hoyle specializes in Shenandoah Valley & Virginia furniture, pottery & folk art.
John L. Laughlin
Licensed Virginia auctioneer and Vice President of Laughlin Auctions Inc. 1984 graduate of Ferrum College with a degree in Animal Science. John specializes in firearms, military collectibles, and farm/industrial equipment.
Duane E. Laughlin
Licensed Virginia auctioneer and Treasurer of Laughlin Auctions Inc. 1983 graduate of Virginia Tech. Duane specializes in coins, vintage toys, advertising & jewelry.
Betty Laughlin
Richard “Richie” Minton
Licensed Virginia auctioneer and Manager of Laughlin Auctions Inc. 1996 graduate of Strasburg High School and attended Mendenhall Auction School in North Carolina. Began working for Laughlin Auctions Inc. in 1994 and became a licensed auctioneer in 2007.
Hoyle S. Laughlin III
Graduated from Central High School in 2009. Attended Radford University from 2009-2013. Part-time employee of Laughlin Auctions Inc. from 2002-2013 and full-time employee from 2013-present. Judy Rhinehart
Judy is the “smiling face” that greets you at every auction! She started with Laughlin Auctions in 1987 as a cashier. She is a “jack-of-all-trades”. In addition to being head cashier, Judy serves as office manager and IT coordinator. Her energy & infectious smile makes her a “crowd favorite”!
Cindy Wilkins
Cindy is another “jack-of-all-trades.” A 1979 graduate of Central High School and 1983 graduate of James Madison University, Cindy serves as cashier or clerk on auction day. She is our very capable website coordinator responsible for posting all photographs and text. Additionally, Cindy coordinates our 1,600+ member email mailing list. Cindy was with us at our first auction on Memorial Weekend, 1986.
